Shelter scope, sized from the people in it

Pick who is in it and for how long, and the shelter stops being a box on the plan. Occupants × days drives the ventilation, water, sanitation and egress numbers, and every one of them lands in the same takeoff, schedules and change log as the rest of the house.

3 occupancy presets

Compact 2–4, Family 4–6, or Extended 6–10. The preset and the duration you set are what every number below is calculated from.

15 cfm per person, default

Required airflow is occupants × cfm per person, never below 3 cfm each, held against the filtered ventilation you have actually placed.

Water

Required gallons are occupants × days × gallons per person per day, compared against stored volume and the number of tanks that volume implies.

Sanitation

Conceptual waste runs at half a gallon per person per day and is held against your holding capacity and toilet count, so the shortfall shows up while it is still a drawing.

Egress and isolation

Escape hatches, ladder height, isolation hatches, passive vent stacks and re-entry checkpoints are counted as scope, not assumed.

What it flags

Missing escape hatch, no filtered ventilation set, unproven sanitation capacity, and shelter rooms that exceed the modeled footprint each raise a visible warning.

What reaches the estimate

Room fit-out, filtered ventilation capacity, potable water storage, sanitation holding, emergency escape hatch, waterproofing surface, corridor and hatch length, and the shelter plus connector footprint.

Conceptual shelter planning only. Ventilation rates, filtration, overpressure, water and sanitation storage, waste handling, power, structure, depth of cover, blast and radiation protection, emergency egress and life-safety monitoring must all be designed, sized and verified by qualified professionals against the actual hazard, occupancy and code requirements. Nothing here establishes survivability.
Concept and coordination tool.
